Trying Dyads (microtonal/drone for modular synth)

Modular synth performance at New Music Dublin Exchange (NMDX), combining a 14-interval harmonic series tuning (selected intervals from the first 64 harmonics), with a combination of deterministic and random modulation controlling the pitch materials, aiming for conditions of ‘tonal fission’, whereby upper harmonic partials may be ‘heard out’ from the overall complex, creating additional tones from the dyad.
